*Bonus/Account Information: Offer valid for new member opening a checking or savings account only. New Member referral cannot be a joint owner on another member’s account nor have an existing HRCCU checking or savings account. Referring member must be a current HRCCU member with an account in good standing. Refer a friend program is limited to four referral payments or $200 per member per calendar year.
To receive the $50 Bonus the New Member must: 1) Open a checking or savings account, subject to approval; 2) Perform 2 HRCCU Visa ® Debit Card purchases within 30 days; AND 3) Have their direct deposit made to this account within 60 days. There must be a minimum of 2 direct deposits totaling $500 or more made to this account. Direct deposit needs to be an electronic deposit of referrals paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from their employer or the government. Upon validation of the requirements, HRCCU will deposit the bonus into the referring member’s account within 10 business days. Bonuses are considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT.
Account Closing: HRCCU has the right to deduct the bonus amount from the referring member’s account if the referral member’s account(s) are closed or direct deposits are terminated within 60 days.
The APY (Annual Percentage Yield) will vary based on the type of account. For example, a Regular Share savings account with $500-$4,999 currently pays 0.10%. The dividend rate may change after account opening. Fees could reduce earnings. Offer subject to change and is valid between 7/22/17 and 9/1/17. HRCCU employees are not eligible for bonus.
